This car was originally from Cornwall but we purchased this motor car directly from its last Jaguar enthusiast private owner located in East Yorkshire. It was bought by the previous keeper to carry out weddings but due to the Covid-19 restrictions he decided it was not a viable option anymore. The car has had 2 former keepers from new.This 2000 model year Jaguar is a genuine, honest and original time warp low mileage example having spent most of its life parked up safe and in a garage. The car does not suffer from any corrosion as its been kept dry and under cover for so much of its life. We have now finished the recommissioning work to bring it back to the extremely high standard we see now and can appreciate today. We did not however have to carry out any paintwork to this Jaguar. After a comprehensive & thorough inspection we soon established most of the rubber bushings and joint have been recently replaced. This car looks to have been maintained regardless of cost. We have replaced 6 ignition coil packs, 6 spark plugs, inlet manifold gaskets, all exhaust oxygen sensors, air filter, oil & filter. Other recent work carried out, cabin filter, coolant expansion tank, front lower ball joints, front anti-role bar links, rear anti-role bar links, rear tie rod rubbers, a/c service, new battery. All matching excellent Pirelli tyres fitted.Since we have owned the car an interior deep clean and leather hide food treatment have been applied, full detailed exterior valet, machine polish and ceramic coating applied, new front and rear number plates. We appreciate generally most Jaguar S-Types now through age, lack of correct maintenance, varied ownership and mistreatment have succumb to a very undignified final few years, please do not confuse our car with an example such as this.
